הרשמה לרד בול מיוזיק אקדמי נפתחה ב- 11 במאי ותסתיים ב- 27 ליולי 2009. בינתיים, כמו בכל העולם גם בישראל מתארגנת מסיבה בלתי מתפשרת עם קו מוזיקלי עשיר בכישרונות המקומיים שזכו להשתתף ברד בול מיוזיק אקדמי במהלך השנים.

אורי ורטהים ועופר טל הם הצמד המרתק מאחורי רדיו טריפ והתפוחים, כל אחד וגישתו המקורית למוזיקה הפקה ותיקלוט. השניים תיבלו את מוסיקה הישראלית בסאונד המיוחד שלהם והיו מהראשונים בארץ שסימפלו תקליטים מתוצרת מקומית להפקות בלוז, ג'אז ופאנק שטרם נשמעו בארץ הקודש.
הם מתקלטים לאורך שנים במיטב מועדוני האנדרגראונד ובעלי השפעה לא מבוטלת בהתפתחותה של סצנת הלילה האלטרנטיבית. בנוסף להצלחה בזירה המקומית הם עושים את זה גם בחו"ל, רדיו טריפ יצא ב- Jalapeno והתפוחים ב-Freestyle.
זו הזדמנות חד פעמית לכל חובבי המוסיקה לסוגיה לשמוע מוותיקי השבט את נקודת מבטם על הפקה, תיקלוט ומצב המוזיקה בארץ.
אורי (mixmonster) - מפיק,מוסיקאי (נגן בס) וטכנאי סאונד מחוספס, שותף בפרויקט הקוליפונס יחד עם כלבתא וקותימאן, שאף יצא בריליס 12' אינצ' בליבל הגרמני המוערך מאלטינג פוט הפיק הרכבים מעולים כגון בום פם, הודסקא אקפלוסיב, האחים רמירז ואחרים. חובב סאונד אנלוגי בנשמתו דבר שמתבטא באופן בולט בהפקותיו.
עופר (schoolmaster) - דיג'י, אספן תקליטים, ממקימי התפוחים, ניגן לצד קיד קואלה, אנדי ווטל, וואדים ואחרים, אלוף ישראל בפריסטייל 2005, ידוע ביכולתו המופלאה בתור "דייגר" (חפרן תקליטים) אשר מוצא את הסימפולים והברייקים המקוריים ביותר אשר יהפכו כל מסיבה למסע בלתי נשכח, בנוסף עופר הודה בעבר שאת ההשראה המיוחדת שלו הוא מקבל משוקולד.
ביום שישי ה-12 ביוני, בשעה 14:30 שגרירי הפאנק הבלתי נלאים של תל אביב יכבדו אותנו בסדנא מרתקת, שם נחשף לכל הנעשה בעולמם של אורי ועופר, החל מהפקה, עבודה עם אמנים, חפירת ווינלים, פרספקטיבה דיגיטלית, סיפורים הזויים ועוד הפתעות..
את הסדנא ינחה מיכאל כהן שהשתתף ברד בול מיוזיק אקדמי אשתקד וישרה עלינו את אווירת האקדמיה.
הצטרפו אלינו ביום שישי ה-12 ליוני, בשעה 14:30 באפרטמנט, דיזינגוף 98, ת"א.
לאחר מכן בלילה נפנק במסיבת רדבול מיוזיק אקדמי במועדון הבלוק, שם נארח את רדיוטריפ יחד עם בוגרי האקדמיה לדורותיה - מיכאל כהן, יוגו, דני בר וטובי.
RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY LONDON 2010 ההרשמה נפתחת !! 11 במאי – 27 ליולי 2009
מדי שנה מתקבצים עשרות יוצרים, נגנים, דיג'ייז ומפיקים מוכשרים מרחבי העולם, לשבועיים מרוכזים של נגינה, יצירה, הופעות, כיתות אמן והרצאות מפי אושיות מוסיקליות ואנשי תעשייה מהמובילים בעולם, כאשר החוט המחבר ביניהם הוא מוסיקה על כל גווניה.
במהלך 11 שנות האקדמיה עברו בה יותר מ-600 משתתפים ו-500 מרצים, יש המתארים את החוויה כחד פעמית, ואף משנה חיים. זהו מקור השראה למשתתפים ולמרצים כאחד, מקום בו מטעינים את היצירתיות ובונים רשת גלובלית משותפת של רעיונות והפקת מוסיקה חדשה. זו פלטפורמה יציבה וייחודית ליצירת סינרגיה ושילובים בין רעיונות של אוהבי מוסיקה בתחומים השונים עם דגשים על יצירתיות, חדשנות ומקוריות.
רדבול מיוזיק אקדמי מתקיימת מדי שנה בעיר אטרקטיבית אחרת בעולם. עד כה בברלין, דבלין, ניו-יורק, לונדון, סאו פאולו, קייפטאון, רומא, סיאטל, מלבורן, טורונטו, ברצלונה והשנה אחרי כמעט עשור האקדמיה חוזרת שוב לאחת הערים המרכזיות בעולם- לונדון.

ב- 11 במאי תפתח ההרשמה ל- Red Bull Music Academy ותסתיים ב- 27 ליולי 2009. בכדי להשתתף יש לשלוח את שאלון האקדמיה בצירוף דיסק בן 30 דקות שמכיל מוזיקה מקורית או דיג'י סט ותמונה עדכנית. גם מי שניסה להתקבל בשנים הקודמות, מומלץ לנסות שוב - ההתמדה משתלמת!
המועמדים שיבחרו יוזמנו לאקדמיה בלונדון, בשני מחזורים: סבב ראשון: 7 בפברואר עד 19 בפברואר 2010. סבב שני: 28 בפברואר עד 12 במרץ 2010. הטיסות, הלינה והארוחות ימומנו על ידי רד בול מיוזיק אקדמי.
בשנה שעברה היה זה מיכאל כהן (מהצמד כהן@מושון) שסט לברצלונה והשתתף ברדבול מיוזיק אקדמי, שיתף פעולה ואף הפיק קטע יחד עם זמרת מלונדון, קלידן מאוסטריה ומפיק מגרמניה,
הקטע פותח את הדיסק השני מתוך האוסף Various Assets Barcelona 2008 שיחולק בקרוב. לאחרונה חזר כהן מברלין אחרי שהופיע לצד Waajeed אחד מאושיות ההיפ-הופ המוערכות.
כמו כן היו שם המפיק והדיג'י אריאל "כלבתא" תגר שמאז שיחרר קטעים בינלאומיים ויצר רמיקסים לאמנים כמו Spankrock, Roll Deep ו-Ben Mono, יותם גולדמן (DJ Yogo) שנחשב לאחד הכישרונות העולים בסצנה המקומית, וכרגע הדיג'י הכי עסוק בעיר,דני בר שהשריש חזרה את הסול והגרוב בליין East Of Eden, טובי שמנגן לאחרונה לצד אגדות הטקנו וההאוס, דורי אדר חצי מה-Wannabets ויואב ברנשטיין אושיית טקנו בינלאומית.
למען הסר ספק: רדבול מיוזיק אקדמי היא לא (ומעולם לא הייתה!) אקדמיה לד'יג'ייז בלבד, המשתתפים הם מפיקים, נגנים, זמרים, מלחינים ודיג'ייז שמפרים אחד את השני, ורובם עוזבים את האקדמיה בתור מובילי דעת קהל בסצינות השונות.
בכל מחזור של רדבול מיוזיק אקדמי נוצרת סינרגיה מוזיקלית בין המשתתפים, בדיסק Various Assets אפשר לשמוע את זה הכי טוב...
