I guess there NEVER was way that someone from Jerusalem could EVER be selected... the participant is SO obvious that it looks like Yarin himself decided, who goes...disappointing...

its only the german RBMA people who make the decision, based on what they hear from your music
and read at the application form
and they don't care if you're from jerusalem, beer sheva or tel aviv
so instead of complaining about geographical discrimination
try harder next year
(and its dosnt mean you weren't good just cohen was better for the group of people that was chosen for this academy)

It does seem strange that the only people who were ever selected came from the small, rather smelly swamp that is the city of Tel-Aviv.
I, for one, would not be surprised if it ever turned out that Red Bull in Israel influenced the choice in order to get more publicity or some commercial shit like that.
It does sound peculiar how come the person who got chosen seems like someone who is already somewhat famous.
yup, it is a smelly swamp, but you cant ignore that alomst everything happen in tel aviv, you cant really prove that this was the main influence of decision, but you consider this also.

Red Bull Israel have no influence? Last year Red Bull Israel had some major change - because of them nobody got sent from Israel last year. They are the ones who give the money, therefore I doubt very much that they don't have a say, at least if they really insist on it.
And there you go: by some chance, exactly one year after they did some problems, an exceptionally famous guy gets selected.
Prove? I never said anything about proving anything. I'm just thinking out loud. I have no doubts about Cohen's talent, but you do have to admit that some things may make one wonder.
